How pricing works for Cheap Quarter Electricity

Your first month comes with a fixed price: a fixed electricity price (c/kWh) and no basic monthly fee. After that, the price is based on The Nasdaq Commodities Market, plus a fixed monthly basic fee.

The Nasdaq Commodities Market is where future electricity production is traded. It’s a longer-term market where prices are locked in for future delivery periods.

Cheap Quarter Electricity contract's price consist of:

• a fixed electricity price (c/kWh) updated quarterly

• a fixed monthly basic fee of the contract

The price is updated every three months in January, April, July, and October. The next quarter's rate is published on our website by the 15th of March, June, September, and December.

Example 1: Your electricity contract starts on 15.4. For the first 30 days, you get the discounted price. Starting 15.5. the Q2 price kicks in, and you’ll enjoy that price for 1,5 months, until the end of the quarter on 30.6. A new quarterly price starts on 1.7. and will be published on this page by 15.6.

Example 2 Your electricity contract starts on 15.5. For the first 30 days, you get the discounted price. Starting 15.6. the Q2 price kicks in, but you’ll only have it for 2 weeks before the quarter ends on 30.6. A new quarterly price begins on 1.7. and will be posted here by 15.6.
