Cheap Energy was founded on the idea that buying electricity should not be difficult or unnecessarily expensive. The energy crisis showed many Finns just how complicated electricity pricing and comparing contracts can feel. We want to offer a simpler alternative.

Cheap Energy is part of the Swedish Elify Energy Group, which operates across several Nordic countries and focuses on electricity retail. The group includes multiple electricity companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark.
