Terminating an electricity contract depends on whether you are switching electricity suppliers at the same address or moving to a new address.

• Switching electricity suppliers at the same address: You do not need to terminate your current contract yourself. When you enter into a new contract, your new electricity supplier will take care of ending your old contract on your behalf. You can terminate an open-ended contract with 14 days’ notice. A fixed-term contract can be terminated to end when the fixed term expires. However, it may be terminated early in certain situations, for example if you move or if the contract has been in force for more than two years. The Cheap Fixed-Term 36-month contract only commits you for two years, while we commit to keeping the same electricity price for three years. After two years, you can decide whether you want to continue at the same price for another year, terminate the contract, or switch to another contract.
• Moving: When moving to a new address, you can terminate either an open-ended or a fixed-term electricity contract by identifying yourself using your online banking credentials or Mobile ID via the link below. You will receive an email once your request has been processed.
