Moving tips for students

Submit a change of address: The easiest way is to notify Posti and the DVV at the same time. Also update Kela if you receive aid.
Order your electricity contract: Do this about a week before you move, so you don’t have to move in the dark. And don’t forget to cancel your old contract, even if it’s fixed-term!
Get home insurance: If you have the energy, compare a few offers. Insurance also protects your belongings during the move.
