Price formation of Cheap Quarterly Electricity
First month’s promotional price: fixed electricity price (c/kWh) + basic fee (€/month). After this, the contract has a quarterly fixed energy price, which follows, among other things, the market price on the Nasdaq electricity derivatives exchange*. In addition to the energy price, the contract has a fixed monthly basic fee.

The price is updated every three months in January, April, July and October. The price for the upcoming quarter is always announced on our website by the 15th of March, June, September and December.
Example 1: The electricity contract starts on 15 April. For the first 30 days, the contract has a promotional price. From 15 May, the contract has the Q2 quarterly price, which will apply to you for 1.5 months until the end of the quarter on 30 June. The new quarterly price starts on 1 July and will be announced on this website by 15 June.
Example 2: The electricity contract starts on 15 May. For the first 30 days, the contract has a promotional price. From 15 June, the contract has the Q2 quarterly price, which will apply to you for 0.5 months until the end of the quarter on 30 June. The new quarterly price starts on 1 July and will be announced on this website by 15 June.
*Nasdaq’s electricity derivatives exchange is a marketplace for electricity production taking place in the future. Trading on the derivatives exchange is carried out over a longer time period, with electricity prices fixed for future periods.
